Imperfect of regular verbs is formed by adding a prefix and a suffix to a three-letter root. For regular verbs it like the following for the verb 讻转讘 (to write):
| person | gender | singular | plural |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3rd | masculine | 讬讻转讘 | 讬讻转讘讜 |
| feminine | 转讻转讘 | 转讻转讘谞讛 | |
| 2nd | masculine | 转讻转讘 | 转讻转讘讜 |
| feminine | 转讻转讘讬 | 转讻转讘谞讛 | |
| 1st | 讗讻转讘 | 谞讻转讘 |
1st, sing. sometimes end with 讛 (see Gen. 18:30).
谞讛 may also signify the particle 谞讛 may written together with the verb.
