Translation of Genesis 3:16

He said to the woman: I will very much multiple your pain and pregnancy, in hurt will you give birth to children. And to you husband your strong desire, and he will have dominion over you.

He said to Adam: because you listen to the voice of your wife and have eaten from the tree which commanding you saying not to eat from it, I will curse the soil in order that in pain they will eat you all days of your life.

"I will very much multiple your ... pregnancy" This seems to indicate that fall of the man increased the length of pregnancy to present 9 months, it would be shorter without the fall.

"they will eat you all days of your life" - Victor Porton suggest that this mean that bacteria from the soil will eat the body of Adam. In other words, he will be sick all days of his life.

We may conclude that the climate where Adam lived after quitting the garden was hot, and this caused Adam's sweat.

"You dust" may mean that man consists of atoms.
