Translation of Genesis 6:17

I, behold I am bringing the flood of water to the Earth for destruction of all flesh in which there is spirit of life from under the skies, all what is on the Earth will die.

Comments

How Noah may know that he is God who speaks with him? He presents Himself "I behold I". What may Noah conclude from this?
