Translation of Genesis 2:15

God Yahweh took Adam and put him in the Eden garden for work and for guarding.

Comments

Victor Porton wonders why man (not for example a Cherub) was chosen for guarding Eden. People have internal skeletons and a liable for blood loss being injured. Would some non-humanoid alien to be better for the guarding service?
