For himself Lamech took two wives. Name of the first is Adah, name of the second is Zillah.

Translation of Genesis 4:20

Translation of Genesis 4:21

Name of his brother was Jubal. He was a father of all who posses harps and (other) musical instruments.

Translation of Genesis 4:22

Zillah also gave birth to Tubal-cain, hammering all clay, copper, and iron.

A sister of Tubal-cain was Naamah.

A sister of Tubal-cain was pleasant (beautiful).

It is sometimes taught that taking more than one wife is wrong, because this happened with Cain's descendants. But too assume that all coming from Cain is evil, is wrong (for example Enoch was also a son of Cain). However, note that this issue is also addressed in New Testament.

Analyzing of information presented on this page is complete (even with spaces hypothesis). That is, all variants of translation were considered carefully. No warranty however, that nothing is missing.
