Translation of Hosea 6:7

Them are as fog, they are blind and troubled in fear. They are marked among faithless.

Comments

Them are as fog Just like their worship, they themselves are like fog and will disappear with the warming of the sun.

they are blind and troubled in fear The Light of the World is not a different light for Jew and Gentile - He is the same. He as light will burn away that person who is like fog and burn away the fog itself and expose:

1) the stumbling and tripping person, without the fog they can't hide.

2) reveal what is causing the tripping.

3) make it so His people can see and no longer trip.

John 15:21
“The person who has my commandments and obeys them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and will reveal myself to him." (NET)

Thus, The Anointed Prince and the Ruach are the clearing away the fog and revealing much!

Matthew 25:1-13
1 “At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.
2 Five of the virgins were foolish, and five were wise.
3 When the foolish ones took their lamps, they did not take extra olive oil with them.
4 But the wise ones took flasks of olive oil with their lamps.
5 When the bridegroom was delayed a long time, they all became drowsy and fell asleep.
6 But at midnight there was a shout, ‘Look, the bridegroom is here! Come out to meet him.’
7 Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps.
8 The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, because our lamps are going out.’
9 ‘No,’ they replied. ‘There won’t be enough for you and for us. Go instead to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’
10 But while they had gone to buy it, the bridegroom arrived, and those who were ready went inside with him to the wedding banquet. Then the door was shut.
11 Later, the other virgins came too, saying, ‘Lord, lord! Let us in!’
12 But he replied, ‘I tell you the truth, I do not know you!’
13 Therefore stay alert, because you do not know the day or the hour." (NET)

What do these lamps and light symbolize?

Proverbs 6:23
“For the commandments are like a lamp, instruction is like a light, and rebukes of discipline are like the road leading to life” (NET)

Eternal life requires both Messiah and Torah (Rev. 12:17, 14:12, 22:14).

John 14:5-6
“Thomas said, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going. How can we know the way?” Jesus replied, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (NET)

What is the way? It must be of the Blood and of following the commandments.

Proverbs 28:9
“The one who turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer is an abomination.” (NET)

Hearing can be interpreted as understanding, remembering and doing.

Psalms 119:160
“Your instructions are totally reliable; all your just regulations endure.” (NET)

they are marked among faithless Many trip and tremble in fear and confusion over every correct teaching, convicting passage, verse and word in the Set Apart scriptures. As such, those are in danger of being marked as people who are faithless. This is manifested when someone reads something is the Word and runs to various men in the hopes that they would explain the verse or passage in a way that validates their current way of living instead of seeking the strength from YAH to change. This leads to more confusion. It is vital to conform unto the words of irrefutable and uncompromising righteous teaching of HaMashiach (Messiah) so that the blindness of ignorance and the troubling fear of contradiction may be burned away. It won’t cause a life to perish – instead, it will deliver. The gift of love that exceeds all capacities of the tongue will transform this person from one who is like the fog into one who is like a man. Messiah's Father’s commands and precepts are more precious than his own (Isa. 11:1-5). Thus, we should treat them as such in our own lives. His Father’s rulings are his rulings and they are to be ours.

Hallelujah for the gift of life! For not only does the gift of faith resonate in a timbre of the most subtle yet vibrant spiritual instruments, it is exacted in the outpouring of actions that are demonstrably as the Father desires -- meaning, as He commands.

The first and most important commandment is "To love YHVH with all of your heart, mind and strength" (Deut 6:4-15). Additionally, the desire and ability to forgive, to pray, to give, to worship, to supplicate, to learn, to be humbled and to grow into the man that is written about: one that love’s YHVH and follows His commands. Faith in the covenant of blood through the Lamb is worth living for in a new way.
