Translation of Genesis 1:3

1. God said "(let) it will be light" and light appeared.

2. God said my Jah (is) light and my Jah (is) light.

Comments

1. It is unlikely that light (electromagnetic waves) did not exist before Genesis 1:3. After all electromagnetic forces keep atoms of the Earth from gravitational collapsing.

So it is fit this explanation: The Earth was dark accordingly Previous. And saying "light appeared" means that it became lighter on the surface of the Earth.

2. Christ calls himself "light of the World": (Jn. 8:12) “... Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world...”” and (Jn. 9:5) “While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”

Jah my mean Christ in this context. It is side that Christ is light (that is electromagnetic radiation). See this article by Victor Porton for more info about Christ being electromagnetic waves.

Analyzing of information presented on this page is complete. That is, all variants of translation were considered carefully. No warranty however, that nothing is missing.
